Challenge Day 16

It's challenge day 16 of my 31 Day Challenge.  The first part of the day I finished up Cheri's fun flip-flop quilt and thanks for your input!  I ended up not stitching anything in the flip-flops and I like how they stand out and puff up.

This is the last quilt I had to do binding for and I think the rest of the quilts are (no binding quilts).  The break will be nice!

I then loaded Beth's quilt and it's an absolutely beautiful quilt.  She told me to do "my magic" on it....if that's not intimidating!

The lighting was really weird taking these pictures....but at least you can see the quilting well.

This has been a fun one to quilt up and I'm about 1/3 of the way done!  I really pushed myself today to get a good day's work of quilting in, of course in-between my other job.... a taxi driver!!  Urgh!!!  The things we do for our kids!

I've come to realize something since starting this challenge and that is how disciplined I've been.  I've given up some of my favorite activities for this challenge.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not patting my self on the back but I'm just surprised that I've been able to hang in there and stick with it.  For so..so...long I have been really discouraged in my self because I was not dedicating more time to customer quilts and now they're finally getting done and it's such a HUGE weight off my shoulders, it feels so good!

Your quilting is so gorgeous! To think I thought you were being uber-ambitious when you started this marathon! And that was before I knew you were doing binding on a lot of them! Great job-almost there!

That's a really pretty quilt. Your quilting always looks to be just the right thing, it's gorgeous, I could never think of some many different quilting ideas.

The quilting is fantastic - I can see how the long arm machine allows you to do lovely long curvy shapes, which aren't too bad on a domestic machine but those long straight ovals are 'murder' on a domestic machine - just not enough room on the bed or between hands to get nice straight lines .....
Great work on another finish and another well under way - you will fly now especially as you have no bindings to do....

Well done Jenny! You deserve to feel pleased with yourself, you are rocking this challenge, and your quilting rocks too. Deep breath, and carry on, you can do this, I don't know how you've done so much already, but you can do this. Amazing, and, congratulations on a great job so far.

Jenny....you should be patting yourself on the back! This is an amazing challenge and accomplishment. And the discipline you've gained in keeping this pace is amazing! I find that's my biggest challenge is to schedule something and keep to it. I'm so easily distracted, and I'm in awe of your discipline on this! Way to go! And if it helps.....we are cheering you on!!!! Woohoo!

From one taxi driver to another... I'm so impressed with your resolve. As someone who also has a big to-do list, I know it must feel so good to work off those quilts one by one. Keep up the great work. We're all behind you!
