~ Indecisive ~

I feel so indecisive!  So often I say I'm going to do something and then I change my mind.  Please don't think I'm a flake, I'm really not, I just change my priority's and my mind a lot!  I feel like me and my mind are a million places sometimes.

...and why am I bringing this up?  I said last week that I was going to quilt each Urban Nine Patch on this quilt differently, but I'm still indecisive!  I've loaded it on my machine and am really excited to quilt it up!

Not sure how I'm going to quilt it yet and if I'm going to do a different design on each block???  I'm not sure my style will let me go in that direction.  I like my quilting to be very consistent over the whole quilt and so it all flows evenly together.

Only time will tell!!  Soon!

...and no, I haven't loaded hexi #2 yet.  Soon, very soon!

Sounds like our brains work the same way! I think whatever you do it will be beautiful! I think you got a ton more done this week than I did - so you win!

Don't let what you have written on your blog in the past dictate what your final decision is! Your just sharing your creative journey on your blog and it is good to know you change your mind too, we all do :)

Jenny, I can SO relate! Go with your gut on this one.

I can't wait to see how you quilt this. I would go with your heart and quilt it how you feel and it will look great no matter how you quilt it!

A woman just like me
Way too often when planning quilting, I've a plan in my head and am ready to roll but when it comes to the point of actually doing I go off in another direction entirely - I go with what my gut and hands are saying when I sit down at the machine, and so far haven't been disappointed.
You have good instincts, trust them and go with them.
Yes if you want to quilt each block differently - do it - but you can do it big and over the whole block or do it on a smaller scale by keeping the variation to the central core area or the points only - and likewise you don't have to do 'every' block different, do every other one, or even switch between the centres and the points. Photograph it and play around with a pencil - doodle for an afternoon before committing yourself

It looks like you made your decision, and it was a good one! I like that you didn't use a pantograph over all of it!
