Way too often when planning q...A woman just like me<br />Way too often when planning quilting, I've a plan in my head and am ready to roll but when it comes to the point of actually doing I go off in another direction entirely - I go with what my gut and hands are saying when I sit down at the machine, and so far haven't been disappointed.<br />You have good instincts, trust them and go with them.<br />Yes if you want to quilt each block differently - do it - but you can do it big and over the whole block or do it on a smaller scale by keeping the variation to the central core area or the points only - and likewise you don't have to do 'every' block different, do every other one, or even switch between the centres and the points.
