Portland Quilt Market

Quilt Market was so much fun and always overwhelming!

We were only there for a couple of days, but I think that's all baby Ty could handle anyway.

Here's a couple of pics of our Schoolhouse presentation with Checker.

We made some great story boards explaining how the Quick Curve Ruler works.  We also showed all of our quilts.  It was lots of fun and went really fast!

I was so occupied with my baby that I didn't even think about taking pictures this time....wish I would have, because I met so many great people and saw so many great booths!

We just got a couple of pictures.  Here is one of Helen and I standing in front of some "totally", "radical", "awesome", "get out of here" fluorescent quilts!

...and here is Judi and I

Judy is an amazing person and I wish I could have spent more time with her, but I'm glad we got this picture taken of us!

We left Saturday morning and I could have easily spent another day!  It was fun having a baby and all the attention he got.  I only saw 2 other babies while I was there.  Lot's of mom's, dad's and grandparents missing there little ones.

Ty is just over 3 months now...

...and loves to smile!

Ty was sooo cute at market, and so well behaved! Thanks for the pattern you handed to me on the floor. Love it and can't wait to get started on it.

It was so nice to see you at market and baby Ty is so adorable. Love his smile. You girls did an excellent job at your school house. I just bought Metro Rings and Metro Waves this morning. Now if I just could make some time to make them. Your quilting is absolutely amazing. The ladies around me were just amazed with your quilting skills. Both of you are very talented. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Oh, what fun! Market and a baby. Ty has the cutest smile! I can't imagine how you did it. I'm completely worn out after a show day and I do not have baby strapped on!

I'm so glad you got to meet Judi. Isn't she the sweetest thing? You two have a lot in common with your long arm skills.

Congratulations on your quilt market success. The story boards look awesome and hopefully there will be many orders coming soon! I am glad Ty had fun at the market too. I took my one month old son to a three day quilt show and it was enjoyable for both of us-- wouldn't even try to get his 16 year old body near a quilt show these days!!

So sad I didn't get to say Hi at Market. My sitter (my mom) ended up getting super sick the night of schoolhouse/sample spree and I had to rush back home. I missed the whole weekend. Glad you had a great time though!
