"Curve it up" Star Block

Helen and I knew we wanted to do a star block for one of our "Curve it up" blocks.  We played around with a lot of traditional stars.  I ended up doing my own version of a curved star, not using one particular traditional star.
Hope you like it!

I'm happy with this block and it's really easy to do up!

I love doing a mock computer image to see what it would look like with a bunch of them together, fun!!

Remember to share all of your blocks with the rest of us on the "Curve it up" Flickr group!

The tutorial can be found on the next post.

Happy sewing!

Oh, I LOVE this! It is my favourite! It looks Arabic. I am going to bookmark it and give it a try!

I don't know if there are shadows behind your blocks but it looks like you could have a really cool secondary, very subtle plaid pattern happening in the background. Very cool!

Such a great block!! Nice color choices, too! I love what you've got going on so far and and I've pinned one of the layout photo to my "Quilty Goodness" board on Pinterest (with proper credit, of course!). Feel free to follow me if you'd like: http://pinterest.com/lipglass/quilty-goodness/
