This is so pretty, Jenny -- I love your spiral swirls and how you did the feathers inside the chains. But yes, I think stitching in the ditch along the curved chain links would be nice. In your photo it looks like the bulk of the seam allowance is making the edges of the chain links stick up a little, and stitching in the ditch would help them to recede so the curves stand out better, IMO. So pretty!

Such beautiful piecing and quilting! My vote is yes on SID around the chains.

My vote is no on SID...looks good already and since the whole thing is quilted rather densely, it won't make much difference...not worth the time. But I hate SID, LOL...very pretty!

Hi, Jenny! I'm so far behind, but I'm doing some catching up today! I love what you're doing in the quilt, and I'd go back and SID. I don't love to do it, but I'm always glad when I do.

Congratulations on the successes you've had, and in all of the wonderful things that are in store for you in 2013! For the record, you are a beautiful pregnant woman!

I say yes....this is looking so good. SID would really define those links even more! On another note, I was excited to see your ruler at Quilters Paradise in Clovis, CA yesterday. Yea for you! The word is getting out!
