Patterns...Urban Beads and Urban Candy

Two more patterns for my Website today!

Urban Beads

...and

Urban Candy

 A few more pictures:

First time showing my Urban Candy quilt all done and quilted up!
This quilt was the 2nd quilt I designed.  I've always loved this quilt.  My original name for it was Ribbon Candy, but going with the "Urban" theme, changed the name to Urban Candy.  The fabric was from Anna Maria Horner's Innocent Crush, in fact I did a little crushing on Anna at Quilt Market last Spring.

These patterns are now available at sewkindofwonderful.com

...and for the Give Away Game results:

I'm actually giving away 2 PDF patterns one to Susan who is the only one that mentioned my Urban Candy quilt:

I am going for Urban Winter, I just love that quilt!! I would love to see more of Ribbon Candy too!!

...and out of 16 who said Urban Beads the number generator chose #8!

ok. I'm searching and reading through your blog. Wonderful!! So I guess it's Urban Pods... or Urban Beads.

Congrats!  And thanks again for all your support!!

I think your Urban Beads really is my favorite quilt ever right now, and the quilting is to-die-for!

The two new patterns are wonderful!

My order arrived and I can't wait to get started - such lovely presentation, adore the tag. A billion Holiday commitments and I just want to play with my new toys!

Any advise about using flannel or batik since they tend to have a looser/tighter weave? Easier, harder than typical Quilting Cotton... for a someone brand new to curves what should I go with?

I can't wait to make the Urban Birthday quilt in the New Year but I did get to try out my new ruler and make the most amazing table runner for a Christmas gift. It was so much fun to use - thanks again for the best invention ever! Now if I could only do the quilting like you have mastered it, I'd be set :)

I am excited to get started on the gray and yellow quilt (cant remember the name right now) once I get home from Christmas break! Any requests on a specific color scheme you want me to try?
