Quick Curve Ruler

I wanted to fill any inquiring minds as to what's up with my "Quick Curve Ruler" and patterns.

First off....I wanted to say a big THANKS to all the sweet comments on all my quilts.  It's been so encouraging and has helped me to continue forward with my ruler and patterns.  It's been a year since I started this endeavor.  Juggling family, home, church and a longarm quilting business has been quite difficult while trying to squeeze the time in for my patterns,  but I feel like I'm finally seeing an end, to this part of it anyway.

My website www.sewkindofwonderful.com will be up in a couple of weeks.  I'm currently designing the pattern covers and I have some pretty awesome quilters out there testing my patterns.  My ruler will be available along with the free runner pattern and quilt patterns that have been tested and approved.  All my patterns will be available in paper or pdf.  ...so if you wanted to purchase my ruler...just know more patterns will be available in pdf with in the next month.

Just a couple of days ago I got an e-mail from Krista,  she contacted me a while ago offering to test for me, so when the time came, I took her up on that!  She wanted to practice on the runner pattern before starting the quilt pattern I gave her to test and e-mailed me a picture of it....which looks absolutely wonderful!

She ended up reversing the solid with the print.  I really like the print in the background!

...and she had this to say:

I LOVE IT!  Before my husband even saw my results, just going off of my enthusiasm, he said, "I hope she is ready to be a millionaire!"

...and this:

Basically - I love it, I don't know how you came up with it, but I'm glad you did.

...and this:

The Quick Curve Ruler was VERY easy to use.  I LOVE your patterns.  They are extremely easy to read and comprehend.

...so needless to say that totally made my day!!
Thanks so much Krista!!

I just wanted to let you know what was up and thanks again to those of you inquiring....it makes it all worth it!!

p.s.  I've got about 4 more that will need testing in January ;o) !! hint...hint!!

I hope to be one of the first in line when your ruler goes on sale! I would be happy to test a pattern for you as well. I wish you the best of luck with your patterns, it's a very original concept.

I'm so excited and happy for you! How fun to see your dreams come true without having to compromise or give up all of those other, highly important achievements and ministries/businesses.

I've shown my husband your quilts and he loves them. I would love a ruler and if you do need testers in January...well, I am a SAHM/Homeschooling/Quilting kinda mom!

I can't wait to get my hands on your ruler. Also from the pictures of the finished quilts it looks like it would be great to use the ruler for scalloped edges. I would be more than willing to be a tester. :)

That's so awesome, Jenny!!!!!! I'm so proud of you!!! That's amazing, especially with all you do and family and everything. Just amazing. I think your pattern looks awesome too. I can't wait to get the ruler and pattern. I can totally see it in some reproduction fabrics too!!! :-)

I'm so glad to hear that things are moving along so positively and would love to be able to test the 'proper' ruler - I know that my attempts to reproduce something along the lines of your masterpieces fall well shy, but I've loved working with such interesting shapes - and can't wait to see how everyone else interoperates what the ruler can give them design wise

I cannot wait. I haven't been this excited about a quilt since I started quilting again after 25 years one year ago. After I discovered your blog and gorgeous quilts I emailed you begging for a tutorial. I was so happy to hear you are developing a ruler and patterns! I went out and bought my fabric and it is sitting in the corner of my sewing room waiting to become my first Jenny quilt!!!! YAY!

Hey--I would love love to test the ruler and pattern if you are looking for testers! I've always been too intimidated to try piecing curves, although I love quilts with curved piecing. I love the modern of vibe the quilts you have designed.

Your video sold me- I have a whole stack of different kinds of speciality rulers that I've collected and never used because I get all confused and frustrated. But watching your demo and knowing that I can refer to it when I make mine will make all the difference I can already tell
