"Urban Abacus" finished!

First off....I just wanted to say a big thanks to all the nice comments on my last post!!  I finished quilting my "Urban Abacus" quilt and love how it turned out!

Here's a couple of pictures.   Anyone interested in this pattern and my "Quick Curve Ruler",  please..please...be just a little bit more patient with me.  I'm trying hard to release my first 4 patterns.  And when I'm ready for that I will show more pictures of the whole quilt!

The pebble quilting gave the quilt amazing texture and as I was quilting it up I discovered something exciting, a secondary design!

I used an ice blue thread on top and a thin white thread on the back and when I did my straight line quilting through the oval blocks I used my channel lock rather than a ruler, it went much faster that way.  I wanted the quilt to hang real flat and have weight to it, so I used DOUBLE warm and white and am really pleased with how that worked out.

I'm really excited to quilt up my "Ribbon Candy" quilt next.
