Quilting Pics

I'm not sure a quilting revelation ever came to me on this quilt and was tired out waiting for one, so I just started quilting it!

I ended up doing different quilting fillers and designs randomly throughout the quilt.

I made sure not to do to many pebbles, because although I love them, they are a killer on the upper back and neck and a time sucker to quilt up!

I love how this one turned out, I wished I had this quilting revelation from the beginning, I would have used this throughout the whole quilt!

I'm going to finish in the next couple of hours.  Then the binding needs to go on and instructions need to be written up....and then it needs to get shipped out ASAP.

This quilt has really given me an insight and an admiration for all the many, many quilts that are featured in Quilt Magazines.  I'm not sure if this is my thing?  It seems like a lot of pressure and something I don't need added to my life right now.  Again, kudos to all you "Quilt Designer Magazine People"!!  I admire you!!

Your quilting is beautiful. I'm in awe and so wish I could quilt like that. I practice, have a design in mind, but when I start on a quilt I just end up meandering.

Love the quilting as usual :-)
Just wondering if you can tell us which magazine it is going to be in?

Beautiful quilting. Yes, sometimes I too just start and see what happens. I avoid pebbles as well--and I'm using a domestic sewing machine where it's a bit more comfortable.--Just don't enjoy the time it takes to do it!

Hey, don't fret that you didn't have the 'big' picture when you started quilting - you took the journey that you head and hands guided you towards when you decided just to get on with it .... all to often that's how it works for me - personally I've found that if I start quilting to a plan, it's not the right thing and out comes the quick unpick ....
You did the right thing and I'm sure we will love the quilt all the more when we see it in all it's glory

Love the quilting Jenny! Can't wait to see the whole thing! After seeing your 'inspiration' post on the urban 9-patch, I know I really need to get back to my urban 9-patch! It's collecting dust on my sewing side table, but I seem to be busy with other things in life right now and not getting any sewing (other than ''work'' sewing, ugh) done :(
