Blogger's Quilt Festival Fall 2013

I've enjoyed peeking at all the BQF entries over at Amy's Creative Side.  What a fun online quilt show and thanks Amy for putting it on!!

I wasn't going to enter something this time but decided to last minute.  This is for you Karen.  ;o)

This is my Metro Medallion quilt.

This quilt was the result of a Metro QAL I hosted this past summer, using the Quick Curve Ruler.  It was a super fun QAL and lot's of super fun quilts came from it!

I had lot's of fun quilting it up and wanted to show different ways to quilt the Medallion blocks.  I loved the challenge of coming up with something different for each block.

I went into more quilting detail on my original post, if you want to take a peek.

I decided to enter this in the Professionally Quilted category for the Festival.

In case you're interested, an official pattern will be available soon for this quilt, but for now there is a free tutorial for the Medallion block here.

Thanks again Amy!
