I did not leave a comment last time because I thought so many would have the same idea. Did no one mention a modern twist on the old "Apple Core" design?
I think "sugar" should be in the title.
Oh Love the name you came up with ;).
Won't that be fun!
Okay..I know this is late but I can not resist…the shape looks like gym weights or "dumbbells" to me…I can almost see a circus type strong man with a mustache in the background ;)

Jenny: It would be awesome of you to create a pattern for this quilt. There are a lot of possibilities with this quilt... especially with the three different geometric patterns that are created .... half oval, e-longated oval, and I. Neat.
I agree with Janet.... it does look like a Modern Apple Core design. Metro Sugar Gala Apple Core Quilt :)
no matter what you call it; make a pattern....lol. I think it's so cute.
So glad you decided to make the pattern, but I think my favorite name is Sugar Spoons :)
It reminds me of old fashioned parking meters. So maybe Metro Meters. Veronica
