"Metro Hoops"

I think this is the fastest I have ever done on a custom quilted quilt!
When did I get it done?  When baby was sleeping...in the middle of the night.

Helen and I collaborate on all our designs..and we both love how this one turned out!  Helen did the piecing and I did the quilting.

I really had fun quilting this one up!

I used double batting (warm and white) and white Superior thread.

I did up a picture tutorial on how I stitched the motif over on my other blog.

Pattern soon!

The piecing and fabric selections by Helen are amazing, and you are a quilting genius! Congrats to both of you. Aren't you happy to have a baby that sleeps at night!

I think that this is just absolutely beautifully done ! The background looks like tin ceiling panels in the long shot.

I especially favor that you kept the look of the circles in the colored patchwork of the rings.

Your quilts are beautiful but your quilting is breathtaking. Do you quilt on a regular machine or a longarm? I am doing your urban quilt and would like to duplicate the quilting. Carol
