Homemade Pattern

I've been wanting to make this pattern for a while now and finally have a couple of weeks to do some much needed stuff for my quilts and patterns.

Using a piece of corrugated wood molding strip, I made this pantograph.  I thought it the perfect pattern for my "Urban Birthday" quilt.

 Now for the binding!!

Ummm, you are 100% right - that is the PERFECT pattern for that quilt! I tried to do that one about 8 years ago with a stencil, a giant quilt, and my mom's old Kenmore with a presser foot...it's still sitting in the basement! I just might go grab some molding and a marker and get that puppy done! (Did I mention you're a genius for using the molding? Well, it's true!)
