Pictures - Finished Quilt

The lighting is much better today.  Here are a few more pictures of Patsy's beautiful quilt.

The colors in this quilt are so vibrant!  This is my favorite picture, it shows off all the blocks and applique really well!

I had fun with the quilting on the borders.  I really wanted the quilting to give off the same feel as Patsy's darling birds.

I had lots of fun with this block.  I wasn't sure where I was going with it when I started the center motif, but as I kept going the design just happened and I love it!

This is Patsy's center block.  I wanted it to stand out, so I added the corner triangle frames and really went to town with the feathers for the background filler.  Love how this one turned out too.

My lower neck, between my shoulders are sore today.  Pebble quilting will do that, but it was worth it!

I've posted my quilting idea's for this quilt on my other blog if you want to check it out.

Simply breath taken. Your quilt you have done on her quilt is just simply breath taken. You have don a great job, and her will is just (o.k. can I say it again) BREATH TAKEN.

Your quilting is just stunning. I wonder if you know how washing and drying the quilt affects this kind of dense quilting? Does the pattern stay clear or not, and how does the drape of the quilt change.

What a stunning quilting job. I love how it really ties into Patsy's embroidered applique blocks.

This quilt is absolutely gorgeous! Again your quilting skills enhance and take a beautiful quilt to the next level. I'm bummed that you've closed your longarm business. I thought one day I'd have a quilt done by you. Never say never!

stunning - breathtaking. What a pair the two of you are - the quilting and the applique by themselves are wonderful, but TOGETHER!!!! I can only sigh.
