Here are some pics of Lisa's quilt. I'm really happy with how it's turning out!
...and we woke up to a REALLY BAD LEAK IN THE WALL DOWNSTAIRS!! Apparently it's been leaking for a while. Urgh!! Bad timing!! The main kitchen sink and dishwasher are not usable right now!
~Jenny~
Oh Jenny, I just LOVE this quilting! You are so inspiring. The hooked feathers look great, I am looking forward to trying these myself soon.
ReplyDeleteUgh, that looks like a terrible thing to have to deal with, especially so close to baby coming! I hope it's easier to fix than it looks, because it looks like a doozy!
Beautiful..such quilting talent.

ReplyDeleteThat must be maddening to have that leak disable a necessary part of your kitchen.

ReplyDeleteJenny, the quilt is amazingly beautiful. You are such an artist. I'm so sorry about your water problem, that sounds horrible. I hope it's not to disruptive for you and your family.

spectacular quilting, just makes the quilt sing!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilting. So sorry about the leak!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting always amazes me. It is just beautiful. I am so sorry you have house and leak and water and kitchen troubles now just before the baby comes, and I hope all gets repaired easily. Try not to stress about it, I know, easier said than done.
ReplyDeleteThe quilting, as always, is simply amazing!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that you have a kitchen back in working order very shortly. It's terrible at any time to have small children and no kitchen but it's slightly better now than with a newborn. The timing is bad but maybe that's so it's not awful timing later? Regardless, hope it's extremely temporary!
Your quilt is looking amazing! So sorry to see your leak! I hope it gets fixed soon!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your leak, but your quilting is AMAZING.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't your back hurt to be pregnant and doing all this custom work? I'm hurting for you, because the quilting is gorgeous, but it looks time consuming. Wish I had your talent and a long arm machine. I feel for your leak in the kitchen. We had the same thing come up a couple of weeks ago and my kitchen still isn't put back together! What a pain, especially with kids at home! I wish you the best!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt and the quilting. Do you know what quilt pattern she used? I can't wait to see the completed quilt. The quilting is amazing! Have you used certain tools with these shapes? Please share.
