It's day 8 of my 31 Day Challenge. Today went well with no hiccups!
I got 4 of Karen's quilts quilted up, 2 less than what I was hoping for.
All of these will go pretty fast. I'm doing overall designs for all of them.
I'm probably going to have to dedicate a day just for bindings. I was hoping to finish up all of Karen's quilts tomorrow, but looks like they will get finished up on Friday.
...also, I get a feeling from a few comments that your worried about me and thanks for caring, that really does mean a lot to me. For close friends and family that know me well, know that this is how I operate sometimes and I do really well under pressure. I do know my limits and will make sure I don't burn myself out.
Thanks again for all your encouraging comments and no Lowe's tomorrow, which means an earlier quilting start!

ReplyDeleteDon't fret - that's still great going.
ReplyDeleteAre you hand turning your bindings? If so, ooch, you'll have sore finger tips .....
Looks like, you could have a third of the pile finished by the weekend if all goes well - that's no mean feat, well done.
Go Jenny. Wow, impressive progress. I love those little spirally squares.
ReplyDeleteWow! I go away for the weekend and come back to find you are flying! Keep going - you're on track to complete them all :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so enjoying reading about your progress and seeing all of your lovely stitching! Keep up the good work!

ReplyDeleteI'm not a long arm quilter, but I have been completely taken with your "quilting challenge" series. I love the updates! And I love your quilting.
ReplyDeleteWhat's amazing to me is that you crank them out but the quilting is still amazing!!
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration Jenny! You have inspired me. I check your blog daily and love to see your work. Thanks so much for sharing with us. Karen
ReplyDeleteStill amazed! Good to hear you know your limits, and will take care if you need to. I am so proud of you and all you are getting finished, and the bonus for all of us is we get to see more of your work more often. I love this challenge!
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteI am loving your challenge! :) Every night when I'm all snuggled in my bed, I have a little routine and it involves my Kindle Fire... Including checking google reader and hoping that I'm not to early for your evening post! :) And if I haven't said it before... You are AMAZING!!!
ReplyDeleteI love sewing on bindings. Wish I was there to help you sew them on. I could hand sew and chat with you while you are at the long arm!

The quilting on the lime/orange squares is adorable. I love those and love Kristine's description of spirally squares!
ReplyDeleteI love those spiral squares!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing all your quilt designs! I used to be able to push myself, but as you age, you no longer push but pace! I still get a lot done!
