Oh my! We have ourselves another stunning Metro Rings! Barb from Mountain Quilt Works blog and Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts blog did an amazing job on this best selling pattern - Metro Rings!
Shanna pieced it and Barb quilted it.
Shanna's fabric and color choices are absolutely gorgeous and the white background sets everything off beautifully!
Barb used our QCR Curve It (formerly known as the QCR Side Kick) to help her quilt this masterpiece! The Curve It Ruler has the same curved angle as the Quick Curve Ruler, making it much easier to follow those curved lines when quilting.
She used a double layer of Hobb's 80/20 batting and figured she quilted about 4,220 pebbles!! Wow!! Impressive! :) We hope someone was available to give her a good backrub!
Much thanks to Barb and Shanna! We absolutely LOVE everything about this beautiful quilt! Nice job ladies!

ReplyDeleteThat is crazy gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and omg gorgeous quilting!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is GORGEOUS! I love the pebble quilting. With the Christmas themed fabrics, the quilting looks like so many snowballs. Good to know that you have a quilting ruler that matches the curve of your curve-it-up ruler. Can you use it with domestic sewing machines or is it strictly for long arm quilting? I do have the Westalee ruler foot for my Bernina, but I know some long arm rulers are too thick or something.
ReplyDeleteWow,
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! Someday I hope, LOL
Would you consider making the QCR Curve It in 3/8" also? I have basically converted all my 1/4" longarm rulers to 3/8" rulers. What a difference!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
