Blog Hop Day 4!!

Welcome to day 4 of our Blog Hop!

What inspires you when you want to be creative?
Is it nature,
fashion,
music,
color,
emotions,
sunsets,
the moon,
or just life?

Part of being creative is letting ourselves be influenced by whatever is around us and
creating what we love!

There is a great book titled "Steal Like an Artist" which discusses the idea that nothing is original.
It is all inspired by something else.

Meet our Day 4 Blog Hop participant from "Live a Colorful Life" who also shares this philosophy!

Check out her great posts about what inspires her to be creative.

She does fun things with selvages!
Loves classical music!
Still loves printy green fabric when the modern movement told her she shouldn't!
Loves to challenge herself to make more than one version of a quilt.

Check out her version of the Curve It Up pattern which looks great in solids with black background!

Thanks for hopping by and we will see you tomorrow!

What a lovely description of Live A Colorful Life! I, myself, like minty green, even though I've been told it's not modern. It's been really fun seeing all the versions of Curve it Up!

Thanks for the info about inspiration and Steal Like and Artist, too. I'm looking at it right now!
