Are you ever "done with it"!! A quilt that is.
That's how I feel about this one!
These Urban Tiles blocks dragged on...and....on...and.....on!! I never did love the fabric and color choices from the very beginning and that always makes it hard to complete a project. Still need to quilt it and do up the pattern on it.
....okay moving on
I played with the Double Wedding Ring blocks some more yesterday.
I feel really good about it now. I simplified and took out some steps, so I hope it's ready for a pattern!
I loved hearing how everyone felt about this potential pattern....very encouraging, thanks so much!

Occasionally I have felt that way about a particular project after I have started it. Very often it then languishes in my UFO pile. Kuddos for getting yours accomplished. Urban Tiles is a nice pattern.
I really like the Double Wedding Ring blocks! I am looking forward to seeing these work up into a quilt. A DWR is on the long "short list" of quilts I want to make ... :) Pat
The finished quilt top looks like a lot of work, but I really love it! Can't wait to see how you're going to quilt it!
The double wedding ring blocks looks amazing!!! LOVE them! I've never made a double wedding ring quilt, too much work. But doing it this way, looks like so much fun, and easier.
Hope you'll have a great and creative week.
Hugs
You did great to keep going that didn't really 'light your fire'....it does look great.
I am looking forward to seeing both projects quilted.
Yes, I have had that "done with it" feeling too. I love your Urban Tiles though! The DWR is looking really good! Looking forward to that pattern.
Love your double wedding ring!!! I never wanted to make one until now.
Nice, jelly roll friendly? Can't wait! Just ordered my fabrics for the BOM.
I'm excited about your new pattern, and well done for sticking with the first quilt!!
Yes it does happen! Maybe yo will enjoy it more as you get to quilting it up!
Oh I love, love the double wedding rings this way - looks like floating rings now. Can't wait for this to be a pattern. I just ordered your ruler, am vacationing in Maui right now so hoping to find it in my mail when we get back home. Great stuff!!!
I LOVE your urban tiles! I have my fabric ready and hope to start some myself soon.
Ohh my, that is stunning. Mind you the fabrics you chose are lovely, remind me of the beach. Yes, please, I'd love a pattern for that.

Seriously?! I LOVE those urban tiles. LOVE them. Just send them my way when you're done with them. LOL! I'll take them off your hands for you. I love what you're working on with the double wedding ring.
I really, really, really like the double wedding ring!!
I love what you're doing & your creativity with patterns & creative modern quilting really is an attractive selling tool, I'm sure. Do you remember me last winter telling you I saw someone post a customer quilt taken from your website with no credit given to maker or quilter on Facebook? This woman would post alot & I'm sure many people thot like I did at first she was posting her work. But shortly after I replied to that post saying I knew the quilt & gave reference to your blog, I noticed she soon started identifying where she got the pictures.
