I helped my friend cut her fabric out for a KING size Zig Zag quilt today. It only took us about 45 minutes to cut. And don't you love the fabric she picked out. The fabric line is Modern Meadow by Westminster/Free Spirit. I will have to say that this fabric is much prettier in person! Katie is pretty new to quilting and I'm excited for her. It is such a fun hobby and I encourage anyone, especially my friends to start!
I thought this design would be a good start for her. She is doing the same Zig Zag quilt I did up for my bed. The tutorial is here.
I'm really tempted to get some this fabric..it is so pretty! It's going to look amazing when she is done!
