ReplyDeleteOoh, that's hard to narrow it down to just one, hah! Okay, I would have to say, my favorite pattern (right now) is "Metro Twist". Love the movement in this pattern. So many great options, though! Love them curves!!

ReplyDeleteI've had your Urban Candy pattern for awhile, waiting for the right fabric, and I found on a road trip this summer, so really soon (I hope) I will be creating with some Elizabeth fabric from Tula Pink. It has enough oomph to make your pattern rock! Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteI really admire all of the QCR patterns and how they embrace modern quilting. My favorite pattern is the Poinsettia. Of course, it would be perfect for the Christmas season, but with other fabrics and colors, it would work for any time of year!

I just finished quilting a Deco the Halls but I enlarged the size and made it king sized for my bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI think Metro Medallion is still my favorite, but I also recently purchased the pattern for Metro Twist. I love the color/fabric combinations you use in your samples and that makes it difficult for me to choose which pattern I really like the best!

Urban Candy is a great example of a "modern" quilt. You can make it your own by mixing up colors and the candy shape. But I also love Medallion.....reminds me of royalty. Thank you so much for having these giveaways.

ReplyDeleteI like the metro rings very much, and I won a ribbon with this quilt at the Quilt Plano 2015 Show, but I also did enjoy making the metro twist very much. My next pattern to make is the Urban Winter that I bought at the Dallas Modern Guild during your visit to Texas. As much as I love your patterns I love your rulers. They are perfect to work in all your patterns and others that require a soft curve, for cutting and for quilting.

ReplyDeleteMy favourite pattern is the first one I saw, and the first one I tried... the one that "made" me buy the ruler, and start on this Curved Adventure.... Urban Beads!! I am using Pepper Cory's shot cottons, and they are just beautiful for this project, so rich and gorgeous. I can't wait to quilt this project, as these patterns are just calling out for fun quilting. Metro Waves is on my short list for a next project, but I have many that I would like to try.

I have actually been loving the Twisted Blossom quilts that have been posted lately. I have only made one curvy quilt so far. I'm not sure why they scare me so much??? You make it look easy, so hopefully I can win this package and dive into the curvy deep end!

There are so many gorgeous patterns that i would love to attempt someday, but don't have many of the tools need to do them. I would love this ruler, I have seen the Twisted Blossoms on many sites and would like to make one.
