We are sure enjoying our time in Grand Junction Colorado this week. Here we are with the Sunset Slope Quilt Guild President, Jo Cornforth. She and all the ladies we've been meeting are delightful!
Today we are spending our time with two Grand Junction Quilt Guilds, Sunset Slope Quilters and Colorado West Quilters. We've enjoyed rubbing shoulders with these talented ladies, and sharing our quilts, conversation and food with them! :)
Our mother has been here with us as well! So much fun!! We are looking forward to spending the rest of the week at Sherilyn's home in Cedaredge, CO....designing, quilting, eating, laughing, sleeping and feeding chipmunks! :)
We are looking forward to teaching an Urban Candy quilt class tomorrow at Busy Bea Quilters!
Fun time for sure!! :)
We hope everyone is making good progress on the Twisted Blossom blocks.
Sherilyn is trying to decided whether or not to add a gray diamond to her blocks. What do you think?
We hope everyone is enjoying the remaining few weeks of Summer, getting in some last minute Summer fun!
Happy Quilting

Yes on the grey dot. Looks sharp!
ReplyDeleteGrey diamonds bring focus to the middle blossom. Good idea.
ReplyDeleteYes I like the grey diamond
ReplyDeleteI moved from Grand Junction to North Carolina 12 years ago ... lots of memories there when my husband was with the police department. We retired "back East" to get away from the snow. My love of quilting, and career, started at Quilter's Corner. Have a wonderful stay in Cedaridge - those chipmunks need treats. Yes, with the grey addition. Judy C in NC
ReplyDeleteSure wish we would have known this in Delta Colorado!
