Friday Giveaway!!!

In order to enter our giveaway, please tell us about some of your summer fun and how many blocks you plan to make for the Twisted Blossom QAL. 

 I plan on making 16 Twisted Blossom blocks, and some of my summer fun includes pool time with my grandson Calvin - I live in AZ and pool time is mandatory :-) Helen

  4. I'm not sure if I'll stop at 9 or if I'll make the fabric work for 12 blocks. I also live in Tucson AZ so spending as much time at the pool or Lakes in AZ are definitely mandatory.

  6. I'll be making four blocks ... a baby quilt for my granddaughter. My summertime fun includes lots of time with her while she is visiting for 6 weeks.

  7. I have made two so far. The first one has been set side for now- then changed fabrics (using stash fabrics/scraps) and will make 4-5 to make a bed runner. Then probably a bigger quilt with different fabrics. Loving this pattern. It's wintertime here in New Zealand-and the coldest in 50 years, so it's not fun, but the sewing room is. I'm a summer girl so can't wait for it to warm up again.

  9. Poolside fun is on tap for summer here in NY but we have to have a pool heater! I plan to make between 20 and 25. Either 4x5 blocks or 5x5 blocks for a bed size quilt. We'll see what I end up with....

  12. I'm shooting for sixteen blocks and loving the pattern, thank you.
    Here on the farm summer is a busy time with the garden and putting up hay and what ever else nature throws at us. We usually have time away in the fall. I am hoping that family can come and visit.

  16. I hope to make 9 blocks too. I've taken one quick trip to the Pacific Northwest this Summer, but I'm still looking forward to a quilting retreat with girlfriends at the end of August followed by Longarm Schoolhouse in Louisville Kentucky!! Can't wait!

  17. We are headed to New Brunswick at the end of July! Of course, while travelling down, I want to visit as many quilt shops as I can!! I plan on making all of the blocks on the quilt a long!! I am just waiting on the ruler and pattern that I ordered from your website to come to me by post!!! So excited to start!!

  23. Hi! My intention is to make enough blocks for a twin or lap quilt. I have some of my pieces cut out for the first block and am hoping to get back to it soon! :-). House projects are my fun this summer....side effect of spending the last year building....good news is that I have a sewing area set up and I have put the sewing machine already into action! (Big grin here..happy to be back quilting again!!). Have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for hosting this fun QAL!!

  28. I will make 25 blocks as I know my son wants a large quilt to cover his white sofa. He love the bright colors and feel of the Westminster Fabrics. As for another summer activity, I have gotten very involved at our senior center with different exercise classes, such as; Zumba, Balance, and TNT. I have more spare time in the summer and can make classes almost everyday.

  34. Driving around in our 1960 MGA which my husband restored. Oh, it is beautiful and fun! And, today we are leaving for a Bible conference in the Chicagoland area. Looking forward to that. Not sure on how many blocks. We will have to see.

  42. We are going in our motor home down the Washington coast and staying at state parks on different beaches for 5 weeks! Boo, our old English Sheepdog of course is going as well. Going to fish ans hopefully crab!! I hope to make enough blocks for a throw or twin size, but, I have to get the curved ruler!!

  50. Summer fun is just livin'! Enjoying the heat, going places in our golf cart, and spending time in my wonderful sewing room, domestic machine quilting.
