I finished Laura's quilt yesterday.
This feather is one of my favorite's for these kind of quilts. It's always a winner!

These feathers of course were not made up by me nor the all over vine idea, it's simply inspiration I've gathered over the years from many talented longarm quilers!

I admire all of the wonderful things that contemporary quilters are doing today, but when I see a traditional quilt like this one, done so well from fabric choices, patchwork construction, right on through to the "icing" of perfectly executed swirling feather quilting -- it just makes my heart sing. Thank you for sharing your work!
