I finally feel like I can complete some much needed quilts! I'm focused, not so overwhelmed and now have some help. Thanks Helen!
Remember this block?
I have 6 done and 3 more to go before writing up the pattern. This quilt will be called "Urban Tiles". I'm so close to finishing up my Urban series and it feels so good!
...and thanks to Helen for helping me write up the pattern for the Urban Nine Patch, I can finally say the PATTERN IS NOW AVAILABLE!!
As many of you know I have had this tutorial up on my blog for quite some time and gave permission for it to be taught in a few classes while it was available on my blog.
I would appreciate any help on getting the word out that a pattern is now available if you happen to know of or see a class being taught on the Urban Nine Patch.
Thanks so much!
...and can I just say how excited I am! There are all ready some great "Curve it up" Churn Dash Blocks! I'm excited to see more done up...and I've also made it possible to download a PDF of the Churn Dash Block. It's available on the tutorial or right here. We will have a PDF available for each block from now on.

ReplyDeleteI love your Urban Tiles and Urban Nine-Patch patterns Jenny! Congratulations on getting the U9P pattern available! And thanks for making the QAL blocks available in PDF format - much easier! I joined the Flickr group tonight and hope to get a Churndash block completed soon :*)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the pattern up. When I blog my quilt top, I'll link to it. Urban Tiles is on my to do list, so I'm excited to see you get that one up, too. Take your time though. I have to finish some other stuff first! LOL. Great job. I really love that orange, black, and green.
ReplyDeleteoh, your Urban Nine Patch pattern cover looks beautiful, Jenny! I look forward to seeing your Urban Tiles pattern, too. Love the new name! I'm scheduled to teach the table runner class next month that Auntie Pami mentioned. It's Urban Tiles without the last strip of fabric! I'll be sure to let the students know your pattern is in the works.
ReplyDeleteYou know I love your Urban series. So you have me waiting impatiently to here (and see)what the next series is.....
ReplyDeleteI love both the Urban 9 patch (just ordered the pdf) and the Urban Tiles quilt. I'm always blown away by your fabric choices - combinations that I would never think to put together but which you always make look so absolutely fantastic. Thank you for the pdf for the Churn Dash, that will make it much easier when I come to make my block (very soon I hope, just finishing up another project first).
ReplyDeleteJust ordered the 9 patch pattern. I have been waiting on this one. Woo-Hoo... doing a happy dance
ReplyDeleteSo excited to see the Urban Nine Patch pattern! I just discovered your blog about three weeks ago, promptly ordered the QCR, started the blocks using the tutorial. A friend saw them, and asked me to teah it at the LQS, this will make it much easier, as they are required to purchase the pattern and ruler. Thank you!
