I started working on this little quilt for Lisa yesterday and loved seeing the difference the quilting made.
....so I took a couple before and after quilting shots.
Isn't that fun!
I also try to link quilters to blogs and sometimes fail to do so. So I wanted to make sure I linked up Thelma for her beautiful quilt yesterday.
Ok, that is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI'm making this out of terrain, but may have to do it I these colors too. Beauty!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so beautiful! Great quilting makes such a difference.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool to see side by side. I love how your quilting adds another layer of design. Beautiful job!!!
ReplyDeleteyou do good free motion !!!!
ReplyDeletewow! that is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is so phenomenal! Do you do any marking or are you that precise free motion quilting? I'm amazed at how perfect the arcs look. Mine would be very wonky!
ReplyDeleteI never knew that quilting could make such a difference -- you are truly an artist, collaborating with the maker.
ReplyDeleteWow, the quilting makes such a difference! I love the secondary design you created with the quilting. Great shots!! And what a cute quilt.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful how your quilting makes the colors pop! You do awesome work!!
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat petal design in the stars is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteIs that a stand-alone design (you stitch each one individually with its own start/stop)?
Or were you able to stitch it continuously with the other quilting designs?
I try to do continuous designs so I don't have so many tails to tie off and bury.
Jenny
ReplyDeleteAs always an inspiration!
Cheers

Jenny, it's GORGEOUS!! Well of course it is - your quilting always adds an amazing finish to quilts. I'm proud to say this one is mine!
ReplyDeleteThat quilting is really eye catching and enhances the beautiful quilt. Great Job!
ReplyDeleteThat still amazes me every time too! The quilting is the WOW factor that brings the quilts to life.
ReplyDeleteLovely work. You've proved what I've always thought, that a quilt isn't a quilt until it's quilted.
ReplyDeletebest from Tunisia,
nadia
Spectacular difference - beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt, but amazing how the quilting adds to the design.
ReplyDeleteJust simply amazing to see the difference quilting makes! And as the designer of the quilting design, you always seem to lift a quilt up above the ordinary :*) These blocks are really cute all on their own, but they take on a totally new life after your gorgeous stitching!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is just looking gorgeous! Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteI may have started making quilts for the beauty of the fabrics, but I keep making them because of the way the quilting enhances the fabrics and the piecing.
ReplyDelete(I had wondered if the the Thelma in your last post was the Thelma of Cupcakes and Daisies fame.)
Wow that's lovely! the difference is so cool! Love how your quilting it, it's a wonderful design!
ReplyDeleteThe quilting turns a beautiful quilt into stunning! Fabulous pattern you chose for this, too! It's just right!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning! So great to see the picture and the difference it makes when a quilt is good quilted. Love to see your pictures :-)

Breathtaking! What a difference. The quilt itself is so spiffy and fresh, and the quilting makes it even more so, with warmth added. Great collaboration!
ReplyDeleteIt never fails to amaze me what a difference the quilting makes! Beautiful work Jenny.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Quilt!!!! I love her colors and the design, and the quilting adds so much as well!!! Great job Jenny and Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and the quilt looks nice pre-quilting, but man the quilting sure does add something special! Good job, Jenny!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is always stunning! How do you get your quilting to stand out so well? What is your batting of choice? Thanks for sharing your talent with us, I look forward to seeing your latest quilt. How do you get inspired? Every quilt looks so unique with it's own personality.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilting! Do you use a ruler when you do the arcs in the white pieces? You're lines are always so straight.
