"Sew Modern Monday"

Last Friday I worked on some of my own piecing with Pam and Kay!  It was a great little get away!!

When I cut my the fabric out for my "Ribbon Candy" quilt I cut out double then what I really needed and this is what I came up with the extra curve cut outs.  Not sure if I'll do up a pattern for this.  It's skinnier than a normal lap size quilt but great for a wall hanging.
...so what do you think should I do up a pattern for this?  Do you like??

...oh and if your new to my blog you'll notice everything I'm doing is with a curve...and that is because I have designed a curve ruler I have not yet released.  I'm in the process of writing up my patterns that will be available with the ruler.  It's been a long process....trying to juggle LIFE with kids and a Longarm quilting business

I am extremely passionate about my patterns and am having a blast doing them up.  So where ever this may take me I don't know but I'm having so much fun in the process and that's all that matters to me!!
Have a great Monday and thanks again Megan for your "Sew Modern Monday"!!

  3. Haha!! Jenny, I saw you ask if we thought you should do up a pattern for this, and Krista said she hadn't seen anything like this, and I thought, "Uh. . . Hate to disappoint you, but yeah, I've seen some neat things *just* like this. . . " And then realized it was just YOUR other quilts I'd seen! lolol :D Yeah, you should do a pattern. ;D

  7. I vote for a pattern for this, it is really great. Different from anything I've seen. I think this would make a good 'guy' quilt, it reminds me of lengths of chain. Oh dear, you've already got me dreaming up fabric combos to make this for my son. I guess I'll have to keep an eye out for that ruler you've designed :)

I just LOVE all the curves . . . even though I'm terrified of sewing curves myself!
